The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the additional installation of playground equipment at Metcalf School project (Bid # LB06110100).

Illinois State University request bids from general contractors for this project which includes the equipment and labor to install the new playground equipment.

Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked additional installation of playground equipment at Metcalf School. Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 AM local time, on Monday, June 11, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

All bids must include:

• Bid security (see complete bid for details)
• A letter from a surety company in substantially the form set forth in the Instructions to Bidders assuring the issuance of the Performance and Payment Bond.
• All bidders must submit a PC-2 form as required by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 4, 2001, 10:00 AM, local time at the Metcalf School job site. This is a mandatory pre-bid meeting. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company's name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process and if your company's name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
