The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the water and waste system improvements at the University Farm in Lexington, IL project.
This project includes a water system that will connect with the new well system and provide for distribution to new and existing buildings, including final connections. The waste system will connect to new and existing buildings and will provide waste from hog facilities to be directed to a waste holding tank.
The bidding documents may be obtained at the Illinois State University Purchasing Office, Campus Box 1220, 117 Hovey Hall, Illinois State University, Normal, IL 61790-1220.
Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked water and waste system improvements at the University Farm in Lexington, IL. Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 AM local time, on Wednesday, September 19, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 4, 2001, 10:30 AM local time, at the University Farm, Lexington, IL (formerly the Growmark Research Farm). If you are planning to submit a bid on this project, you must attend the prebid meeting and your company's name must appear on the Official attendance log. The log will be used at the bid opening. If your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
