The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the South Campus 12 KV Design Expansion project
This project includes construction of approximately 1,800 feet of medium voltage duct back and the purchase and installation of three pad-mounted switchgear units and six manholes. Four of the six manholes will be provided by the owner. The completion date of this project is May 1, 2003.

Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked South Campus 12 KV Design Expansion. Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 AM local time, on Tuesday, September 24, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 9, 2002, 1:30 PM at the Office of Facility Planning, 608 S. Main St., Normal, IL 61790. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and you company's name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company's name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
