The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Watterson Towers Electrical Renovation - Phase 3, Mechanical Contractor project (Bid # LB10040100).
This bid opening is only for the Mechanical portion of the Watterson Towers Electrical Renovation - Phase 3.
This project will include the installation of a glycol cooling system to cool the new electrical rooms located on the third floor of House 5 in the north and south towers and House 1 of the north tower and any other other cooling/heating per plans and specifications.

Refundable plan deposit is $100. The Central Illinois Builders "Request for Plans" Non-Cash Security Card is acceptable in lieu of a plan deposit check. This includes Master Builders of Iowa "Request for Plans" Non-Cash Security Card. The CIB/MBI "Request for Plans" Card guarantees deposit payment to KJWW if the plans and specifications are not returned in good condition within 10 days from the bid opening. Bidding documents are available for inspection at the ISU Purchasing Office and Greater Peoria Contractors, 1811 W. Altorfer Lane, Peoria, IL 61615.
Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked Watterson Towers Electrical Renovation - Phase 3, Mechanical Contractor. Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 AM local time, on Thursday, October 4, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A mandatory prebid meeting is scheduled for September 25, 2001, 1:00 PM local time, Facilities Planing conference room, 608 S. Main St. Normal, IL. This is a mandatory prebid meeting. You must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on th Offical log sheet. The log sheet will be used at bid opening time. If your company's name does not appear on the log sheet, your bid will not be opened.
