The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the 2003 roof repairs on five campus buildings project (Bid # LB103003).
The project includes all facets of roofing repair and replacement inclusive of general construction and associated incidental electrical and mechanical work. The completion date for this project is December 21, 2003.
Bidding documents may be obtained at Middleton Associates Incorporated, 101 East College Ave., Normal, IL 61761-3028. A deposit of $35 per set is required and refundable upon return of reusable undamaged documents within ten days following bid due date. Bidding documents will be avaliable after 10/16/03.
Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked 2003 roof repairs on five campus buildings. Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 AM local time, on Thursday, October 30, 2003. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 23, 2003, 1:30 PM local time at the Purchasing Office, 117 Hovey Hall, Normal, IL. If your company intends to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. The log will be used in the bid opening process. If your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
