Illinois State University does not require that the selected vendor provide 3D BIM as a deliverable for this masonry repair design effort. AutoCAD compatible 2D files will still be required as a deliverable from the selected candidate.

Project DescriptionIllinois State University is seeking statements of qualifications from architectural firms interested in providing design and construction administrative services for masonry repairs on Felmley Hall, Felmley Annex, Fairchild Hall, Rachel Cooper, Moulton Hall, and Old Union on the main campus. Work will include a detailed survey of the exterior of these buildings and a repair plan that will include tuckpointing, brick replacement, stone replacement, and any other necessary envelope repairs. The estimated cost for this project is $500,000.
These buildings house laboratories, classrooms and offices. They were primarily constructed in the 1960�??s. This proposed project is essential to maintaining the exterior envelope of the facility and extending its useful life. Coordination will be required to facilitate work and scheduled with appropriate ISU staff.
Design firms interested in submitting their qualifications should have demonstrated knowledge and experience with roof masonry repair projects. The architects and their consultants will be responsible for developing a complete project budget as their design progresses.
As a project funded by the University, the following are required:
�?�Complete A/E 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) during the entire design process

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
- Submitted 2 copies of their qualifications.
- Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
- Utilize an AutoCAD compatible system to provide documents.
- There is no BEP goal for this procurement.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
