Project Description
Illinois State University is seeking statements of qualifications from architectural and engineering firms interested in providing planning and design services for improvements to the East Campus Residence Hall Complex, which consists of Manchester Hall, Hewett Hall, and Vrooman dining center. This project will be completed in two phases (one residence hall and dining center, then second residence hall) and will primarily consist of the reconfiguration of the sleeping floors, improvements to the restrooms on each sleeping floor, along with some cosmetic improvements to the entire complex. Vrooman dining center will be taken off-line as a dining center and will instead become the entrance to the complex, with activity spaces (classrooms, conference rooms, office spaces, exercise rooms, etc.) within. The total budget for the project is approximately $25,000,000.
