Illinois State University is seeking statements of qualifications from architectural and engineering firms interested in providing planning and design services for the renovation of Watterson Commons. Watterson Commons, constructed in 1968, is a major campus dining center. Work will include renovation of both the dining center's seating area and food preparation/service areas. The University has already contracted with a dining consultant who shall become a part of the design team. Construction work will be completed over a number of years to accommodate continuing operations. The total budget for the project is approximately $7,000,000.

Your statement of qualifications must include the information included on the CDB 255 form and any other information about your firm that you would like to include pertaining to this project. A copy of your CDB pre-qualification must be included in your response. Three copies of your statement of qualifications must be sent to Robyn Schuline, 117 Hovey Hall, 1220 Purchasing Office, Normal IL 61790-1220. Statements of Qualifications are due April 24, 2008, at 2:00 PM local time.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
- Submitted 3 copies of their qualifications.
- Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
- Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
