Project Description
Illinois State University is seeking statements of qualifications from asbestos abatement firms interested in providing design and project oversight services for the abatement of the Central Campus Residence Hall Complex prior to its demolition. Qualifications should indicate the capabilities of designing and managing the abatement of a complex of approximately 160,000 square feet, containing a variety of asbestos containing materials. The total budget for the project is estimated at approximately $955,000.

Your statement of qualifications must include the information included on the CDB 255 form and any other information about your firm that you would like to include pertaining to this project. A copy of your CDB pre-qualification must be included in your response. Statements of Qualifications are due June 14, 2007, at 2:00 PM local time.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
  • Submitted 3 copies of their qualifications.
  • Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
  • Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
