Illinois State University is seeking statements of qualifications from architectural and engineering firms interested in providing planning and design services for the rehabilitation of Watterson Towers. Watterson Towers, constructed in 1968, is a concrete structure building with pre-cast exterior panel. It is 28 stories tall. This project will include installation of a fire protection system, new fire alarm system, improvements to the mechanical and electrical systems, cosmetic improvements, and improvements to accessibility. This project will need to be carefully coordinated over several years to allow continuous occupancy in and "rolling" construction. The total budget for this portion of the project is approximately $22,000,000.

Your statement of qualifications must include the information included on the CDB 255 form and any other information about your firm that you would like to include pertaining to this project. A copy of your CDB pre-qualification must be included in your response. Three copies of your statement of qualifications must be sent to Robyn Schuline, 117 Hovey Hall, 1220 Purchasing Office, Normal, IL 61790-1220. Statements of Qualifications are due August 21, 2008, at 2:00 PM local time.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
- Submitted 3 copies of their qualifications.
- Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
- Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
