Illinois State University is seeking statements of qualifications from engineering firms interested in providing planning and design services for the assessment and design of the condensate handling system at the Heating Plant. The engineering design team shall assess the changing demand on the condensate return system resulting from recent new construction and proposed construction of major facilities on campus. Work will include the evaluation and design of the optimum use of available space within the Heating Plant to accommodate immediate and long-term needs and the evaluation of the condensate distribution within the Heating Plant, including routing, surge and holding capacity, line sizes, pumping, and monitoring for an approximate twenty-year life span. The evaluation and design budget for the project is approximately $50,000. A construction budget will be established following the design.

Your statement of qualifications must include the information included on the CDB 255 form and any other information about your firm that you would like to include pertaining to this project. A copy of your CDB pre-qualification must be included in your response. Three copies of your statement of qualifications must be sent to Robyn Schuline, 117 Hovey Hall, 1220 Purchasing Office, Normal, IL 61790-1220. Statements of Qualifications are due August 22, 2008, at 2:00 PM local time.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
- Submitted 3 copies of their qualifications.
- Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
- Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
