This is a partial award, reflecting the anticipated cost of soils investigation and surveying the lot. The subsequent, unknown fees for design work will be reflected here as a change order to the award.
The University seeks the following program of services to be able to complete this project. The scope of planning, design and engineering work includes, but may not be limited to:
1.Full survey of the site including all existing parking, built and landscape elements.
2.Understanding and evaluating the current drainage needs and condition.
3.Developing a plan to provide sub-surface repairs to support new parking surface.
4.Developing new water drainage plan including any necessary detainage/retainage systems for run-off.
5.Prepare all necessary Plans and Specifications for a complete parking surface with new concrete white-topping surface.
6.Prepare all necessary Plans and Specifications for any curb/entrance/sidewalk repairs.
7.Prepare all necessary Plans and Specifications for landscape design and installation.
8.Develop options and present proposals for vehicular entrance control and payment (i.e. gates, control devices, payment kiosks, other, etc.) and provide a recommended option. All options shall coordinate with the new addition and northeast entrance to the Bone Student Center under construction.
9.Prepare all necessary Plans and Specifications for vehicular entrance control and payment solution.
10.Provide construction cost estimates for all proposed/identified work.
11.Provide on-site construction staking during the parking lot construction process.
