.Document and complete an asbestos inventory for the affected project areas in Bone Student Center
.Design the asbestos abatement process.
.Prepare asbestos abatement bid documents based on 1 and 2, to be bid separately by ISU.
.Ensure that the scope of the design appropriately removes all of the asbestos containing materials to facilitate the planned renovation of the Bone Student Center and eliminates the potential of contamination or exposure to any other ISU campus area.
.Coordinate the prepared design plans and specifications for removal with ISU?s accompanying renovation plans (prepared by others). Note that the renovation project will be constructed and completed in phases, and that the building will remain operational throughout.
.Provide appropriate independent monitoring and testing, as required by statutes, of the asbestos removal process by an independent abatement contractor to be hired by Illinois State University.
.Complete all paperwork, documentation and materials required by State statute, University procedures and all other applicable laws and regulations for asbestos abatement projects. The designers and any sub-consultants will be responsible for developing a complete project estimate to be submitted at 50% and 100% design documents submittal stages.
