The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Linkins Center Equipment Demolition and Removal project (Bid # RB012606).
The project consists of removing abandoned chillers and a large abandoned hot water tank. Pumps, piping and controls associated with this abandoned equipment will also be removed. In addition, the contractor will be removing some electrical distribution wire, conduit and tubs remaining from a previous electrical upgrade project. All work shall be completed no later than March 18, 2006.
Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked Linkins Center Equipment Demolition and Removal. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on January 17, 2006 at 10:00 AM CST at the west side of the Linkins Dining Center, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois, 61790-1220. This is a mandatory pre-bid meeting. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
