Project Description
Illinois State University requests sealed bids for the West Campus Residence Hall Domestic Water System project. The project involves the modification of the existing domestic water piping system and provides new packaged booster pump system for the West Campus Residence Halls. Prime bids will be accepted from plumbing contractors.
Sealed bids will be accepted at the address below until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2010:

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on February 17, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Shawnee Room in the basement of the Linkins Dining Center, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois 61790. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
Bid documents may be obtained at TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc., 3171 Greenhead Drive, Springfield, IL. 62711, PH#: 217-793-2299, FAX#: 217-793-3311. A refundable deposit in the amount of $50, payable to TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc (cash or certified check) is required for each set of documents. The CIB-AGC card shall also be acceptable for this project. Bidding documents in satisfactory condition shall be returned to the offices of TRC Worldwide Engineering Inc, within ten calendar days after the bid opening to receive a refund of the deposit. Failure to return the bidding documents within the ten days will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

  • A letter from a surety company in substantially the form set forth in the Instructions to Bidders assuring the issuance of the performance and payment bonds.
