Illinois State University requests sealed bids for the Stevenson/Williams Hall Move Project. The move will involve two separate phases of work that will include the following: relocate office furniture and classroom furniture from Williams Hall to Stevenson Hall, 1st and 2nd floors consisting of approximately (47) offices, (2) work rooms, and (1) conference room. Also relocate office furniture, classroom furniture and boxes from multiple locations to Turner Hall. Move to Turner to include approx. (98) offices, (26) classrooms/labs, (15) library/work rooms, (2) break rooms, (1) study area, (1) childcare center and (4) conference rooms. The University reserves the right to award the two phases of the project to different companies based on the bid price.
There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on March 3, 2010 at 9:00 AM at the Purchasing Office Conference room, Hovey Hall, Room 117, Illinois state University, Normal, Illinois, 61790. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
