Illinois State University requests sealed bids for the Watterson Towers Wireless Data Installation project. The project involves installation of wireless data access for the residents of the Watterson Towers at Illinois State University. To accomplish this effort, new data station wiring and enclosures to house the associated wireless data electronics will be installed on each residence floor in the complex. Approximately 200 new data station wires and enclosures will be installed to serve four new wireless access points (WAPs) on each of the fifty resident floors in the complex. An award will be made to a single prime bidder for this project.

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on March 11, 2010 at 9:00 AM at the Purchasing Office Conference Room, Hovey Hall, Room 117, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois 61790. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
