Project Description
Illinois State University is requesting sealed bids for replacing carpeting in multiple suites in Watterson Towers residence hall. The contractor will prepare floor surfaces, provide material and labor to install new carpet/tile as specified in the suite areas, and new vinyl cove base in affected areas. A total of up to 36 suite areas will receive new carpet and transition areas between suites will receive floor tile. Cove base will be replaced where existing in all work area, and transition strips will be installed where existing in all work areas.

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on April 4, 2006 at 11:00 AM CST in the Watterson Towers Main Lobby, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois, 61790. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
