Illinois State University requests sealed bids for the Stroud Auditorium Renovation Project. The project involves the removal of existing carpeting, seating, wood paneling, fabric panels, operable partition walls, and installation of scaffolding for future asbestos abatement and renovation projects. Prime bids will be accepted from General Contractors.
Sealed bids will be accepted at the address below until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 15, 2009:

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on April 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Purchasing Office Conference Room, Hovey Hall, Room 117, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois, 61790. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
Bid documents may be obtained by contacting Middleton Associates Incorporated, 1702 West College Avenue, Suite E, Normal, Illinois 61761, PH# 309-452-1271, Fax# 309-454-8049. A $40 refundable bid deposit is required for each set of bid documents. Bid deposit will be refunded if a satisfactory set of bid documents is returned to Middleton Associates no later than 10 days after the bid opening.
