Project Description
This project involves the construction of 8 new tennis courts with fencing, posts, and nets, as well as, required storm drainage structures and sidewalks. Contractor will provide grading to accomodate courts and new detention basin at southeast corner of site, limited concrete bases and underground conduit for tennis court lighting, and new electrical service to site. Prime bids will be accepted from the general contractor and the electrical contractor.

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Thursday, June 21 at 10:00 AM at the Purchasing Office, Hovey Hall, Room 117, Illinois State University, Normal, IL. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
Bidding documents may be obtained at Dean's Blueprint, 404 East University Avenue, Champaign, IL, 61820 through their on-line plan room at There is a $50 refundable deposit required for obtaining the bid documents.
