Project Description
Illinois State University requests sealed bids for the South University Parking Structure Expansion Project. Work consists of ground and 2-supported parking levels of total precast structural system to match existing. The project consists of furnishing all labor and material and performing all the work necessary to construct and complete the new parking deck and related site improvements and modification to the existing deck. Prime bids will be accepted from General, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Protection contractors.
Sealed bids will be accepted at the address below until 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 4, 2008:

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on August 18, 2008, at 10:00 AM at the Office of Facilities Planning, 608 South Main Street, Campus Box 3390, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois 61790. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
Bid documents may be obtained from the Copy Shop, 302 East Washington Street, Bloomington, Illinois, 61701. PH# 309-827-5466, Fax# 309-827-2613. There is a refundable deposit of $150 for the bid documents. Deposit will be returned if bid documents in satisfactory condition are returned within 10 days of the bid opening. Bid documents will not be available for pickup until August 4th.
