The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Fell Hall cupola repair project.
This project will involve the removal of "shadow box" trim and existing wood guard rail and the installation of vinyl siding and recycled plastic lumber material and caulking of all joints. Repainting of the cupola and the metal cupola dome is also required.
Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked Fell Hall cupola repair. Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, September 15, 2005. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on September 1, 2005 at 10:00 AM CST at the Illinois State University Purchasing Office, Hovey Hall Room 117, Normal, Illinois. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
