Project Description
Illinois State University requests sealed bids for the Linkins Loading Dock Replacement project. The project involves the reconstruction of the year old modified loading dock, that needs to be further reinforced for the type of traffic it accepts. The structure has been damaged by the unloading of large trucks. This project will reinforce the platform and supports to withstand heavy truck activity based on the specification provided in the bid documents. Prime bids will be accepted from General and Electrical contractors.
Sealed bids will be accepted at the address below until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 30, 2009:

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on September 21, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Linkins Dining center, 182 North Adelaide, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois 61790. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
