Illinois State University requests sealed bids for the University High School Air Handler Project. Contractor shall provide and install replacement of three complete air handling units, including fan, mixing chamber, connectors, etc. (excluding controls). New units are to be sized to match existing units, which are downflow configuration, 10,000 cfm each. The new air handlers will be made more energy efficient and quieter without changing capacity. Remove and replace hot water piping, including control valves, and isolation valves at coils. Replace all flexible connectors and dampers. Insulate all piping and ductwork, as required.

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on September 28, 2010, at 10:30 AM, Facilities Management North Conference Room, Carter Harris Building, 600 West Gregory Street, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois, 61790. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
