for replacement of air handling units at the Campus Recreation Center. This project includes HVAC work (prime contractor) consisting of removing two existing air handling units and replacing with similar equipment in second floor equipment room of the Campus Recreation Center (intersection of Beech and Willow). Electrical work (sub-contractor) includes disconnection of, moving or removal of, and rerouting and reconnection of existing circuits.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 11, 2004, at 1:00 PM, Illinois State University, Campus Recreation Center (intersection of Beech and Willow), Normal, Illinois. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
