Project Description
Illinois State University requests sealed bids for the Thomas Metcalf Security Upgrade project. The project involves the renovation of classrooms on the third floor of the facility and installation of new doors and security electronics wiring in three different facilities. Prime bids will be accepted from General Contractors.
Sealed bids will be accepted at the address below until 2:00 PM, Tuesday November 13, 2007:

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Purchasing Office Conference Room, Hovey Hall, Room 117, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
Bidding documents may be obtained at Middleton Associates Incorporated, 1702 West College Avenue, Suite E, Normal, Illinois, 61761; PH# 309-452-1271, following issue date of October 26, 2007, with a deposit of $35 per set, refundable upon return of reusable, undamaged documents within 10 days following the bid due date.
