The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the McAlister''s Deli Remodeling project (Bid # RB113004).

This project consists of the remodeling of a current food service space into a new food service space. The work primarily consists of upgraded finishes and built-in furnishings. Prime bids will be accepted for general, electrical, ventilation and plumbing work.

Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked McAlister''s Deli Remodeling. Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, November 30, 2004. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

All bids must include:

• Bid security (see complete bid for details)
• A letter from a surety company in substantially the form set forth in the Instructions to Bidders assuring the issuance of the Performance and Payment Bond.
• All bidders must submit a PC-2 form as required by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for November 18, 2004, 9:30 AM CST, at Guiseppe''s - 1st floor of the Bone Student Center, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company''s name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company''s name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
