Project Description
This project involves the removal of existing synthetic turf, its asphalt base and sufficient earth sub-base to accomodate installation of new aggregate, drain pipes and synthetic turf. Construction of new concrete retaining walls with masonry face brick will also be included. Relocation and addition of electrical receptacles as well as additional communications conduit, conductors and terminal boxes are included as well.

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting on December 5, 2006 at 10:00 AM local time at the Kaufman Football Building Main Conference Room(N.E. corner of Hancock Stadium), Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois, 61790. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
Drawings and specifications may be obtained at the office of Hurst-Rosche Engineers, Inc., PH# 217-787-1199, 2657 West Lawrence Avenue, Springfield, Illinois after 11/13/06 by paying a refundable deposit of $100 for each set. The deposit is refundable if plans are returned to the Architect/Engineer within 10 days of the bid date without markings placed thereon or sheets that have been torn, stained or otherwise physically damaged.
