The University awarded a contract for Illinois High School Association Membership Fees to Illinois High School Association, Bloomington, IL, for an estimated $300,000.
Illinois State University needs to pay membership fees for the period of July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 for boys basketball, girls basketball and girls volleyball. This procurement is related to the University High School, which is a lab school for Illinois State University, and its membership in the Illinois High School Association and the mandatory membership fee.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
education, research, public service, or athletic activities are related to participation in mandated organizations of which the University is a member.

A public hearing will be held at which interested parties may testify for or against
the sole source determination as described in this notice. The purpose of the hearing
is to receive information from the public in a reasonable manner. Formal rules of
evidence will not apply.
The hearing panel will produce minutes of the hearing and may record it in order
to aid in the production of the minutes. Interested parties wishing to comment
for or against the determination may do so in writing or in person. If you wish
to testify, prior registration is requested to ensure adequate time is allowed for all parties.
