Northeastern Illinois University is seeking contractors to furnish and install all necessary labor, material and equipment required to complete the project known as Building C Elevator Modernization, Project No. 03-0000-0204. The project consists of replacement of major components of two electric traction passenger elevators, including required maintenance and all electrical work as specified in the project manual. Work is to be performed in Building C at the NEIU main campus site at 5500 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, IL, 60625.
A Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at 9:00 am in the Building H Conference Room.
Obtain bidding documents after Thursday, April 22, 2004 at Northeastern Illinois University, Facilities Maintenance Building, 5500 North St.Louis Ave., Chicago, IL, 60625; 773-442-5230. No deposit is required. Bid security of $15,750 is required.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents.
Contingent on Board of Trustees approval.

Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
