This bid will have two awards. Both awards will go to Alcatel Internetworking. This first award is Phase 1 for a total amount of $85,630 for equipment and installation. Phase 2 will be announced after April 5, 2001.

The Board of Trustees for Northeastern Illinois University invites interested vendors to submit proposals to provide a robust, scalable connectivity between the University's campuses in order to facilitate voice, video, and data applications, and to extend NSHEC ATM connectivity to the main campus, CTC, CICS, and El Centro locations. The University will mail the RFP to interested vendors who request by e-mail or fax to Susan Zoltek (see below).
A pre-proposal meeting will be held on Monday, May 15, 2000, 1:00 p.m. in the Student Union Building.
