The objective of this Request for Information (RFI) is to survey the equipment and technology available to provide the Northeastern Illinois University campuses with a single unified document handling and cost recovery system. Primary drivers behind this project include the need to offer students, faculty, staff, and visitors a uniform and simple to use document reproduction interface and to expand the availability of document scanning, faxing, and remote printing to all areas within the University.
This Request for Information (RFI) invites vendors to submit non-price information concerning the availability and functionality of products and services. The submission of information by a vendor is not a pre-requisite for that vendor to respond to a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) for those products and services. Likewise, the issuance of an RFI does not commit the University to make any solicitation of formal bids and/or procurement of products and services of any kind.
