The objective of this Request for Information (RFI) is to survey the equipment and technology available to provide the Northeastern Illinois University Mail Services Department with an industry leading mail processing machine and associated management and cost recovery system. The primary drivers behind this project include the need for a dependable mail handling device and an integrated, simple postage accounting solution.
This Request for Information (RFI) invites vendors to submit non-price information concerning the availability and functionality of their products and services. The submission of information by a vendor is not a pre-requisite for that vendor to respond to a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) for those products and services. Likewise, the issuance of an RFI does not commit the University to make any solicitation of formal bids and/or procurement of products and services of any kind.
Technical questions should be directed in writing only via e-mail to:
John Stueber
Associate Director of Auxiliary Services
