Announcement of a Sole Source Purchase

The University intends to award a contract for Conference Services to Q Center, St Charles, IL, for an estimated $200,000.
These conference services are intended to host the Chicago Teachers Center Young Adult Literature (YAL) conferences and GEAR UP planning retreats for parent/professional development. These initiatives are Department of Education federally funded grant activities.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
compatibility of equipment, accessories, replacement parts, or service is a paramount consideration.
