The Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois University is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to provide bond counsel and transactional representation services in the area of tax exempt financing. The University is authorized to issue tax exempt debt. Representative types of services requested as part of this RFP would include such functions as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, consultant for municipal tax areas such as arbitrage rebate and private activity use, and assistance in other types of municipal debt issuance.

Northeastern Illinois University strongly supports the participation of businesses owned by Minorities, Females and Persons with Disabilities (MAFBE) in the implementation and execution of the contract resulting from this RFP. The University desires participation either on a direct basis or through sub-contracting efforts.
