Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) is in the process of constructing a new campus (El Centro) to augment its current facilities. The University is requesting information technology and service options for meet these two objectives:
- Provide 1Gbps fiber based internet bandwidth the New El Centro campus.
- To extend this 1 Gbps fiber based internet bandwidth to the NEIU main campus.
This Request for Information (RFI) invites vendors to submit only non-price information concerning the availability and functionality of their products and/or services. The submission of information by a vendor is not a pre-requisite for that vendor to respond to a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP), if issued, for those products and services. Likewise, the issuance of this RFI does not commit NEIU to make any solicitation of formal bids and/or procurement of products and services of any kind.
