BID CANCELLED: The State is cancelling this bid as per the following:
Subject to TITLE 44, SUBTITLE A, CHAPTER II, SUBPART E; SECTION 4.2040 (c)(1)(B), seven bids were ‘non-responsive’ due to missing required documentation.
Subject to TITLE 44, SUBTITLE A, CHAPTER II, SUBPART E; SECTION 4.2040 (b)(1)(F), the one responsive bidder's prices exceed available funds and it would not be appropriate to adjust quantities to come within available funds.
Please note that an opportunity will be given to compete on any re-solicitation or any future procurements at a later date. Please continue to monitor the Illinois Procurement Bulletin for any future opportunities.
Addendum #1 is being issued to provide additional information and to answer questions received.

The University is seeking bids from qualified firms who are experienced in providing janitorial services. Services include cleaning the three story El Centro Building location at 3390 N. Avondale Ave, Chicago, Illinois and the one story Welcome Center- Annex Building located at 3410 North Avondale in Chicago, Illinois. Services include janitorial services, carpet cleaning, waste removal, and provide required cleaning/janitorial supplies and equipment. Northeastern Illinois University's El Centro Building located at 3390 North Avondale, Chicago, Illinois and the Welcome Center- Annex Building located at 3410 North Avondale in Chicago, Illinois Services.
A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the El Centro location, 3390 N. Avondale Avenue, Chicago, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. Central time in Room ELC206. Masks must be worn at all times while inside the buildings.
NEIU will accept proposals via hard copy at the address listed above OR via the e-bidding portal in the Illinois Procurement Bulletin.

This procurement may be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
The contract(s) for this solicitation could exceed $50,000 annually.
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
