Project Description
Northeastern Illinois University is seeking professional architectural firms interested in providing services for the CCICS Auditorium Remodeling Project at Northeastern Illinois University’s Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies located at 700 East Oakwood Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois.
The University seeks an architectural firm to provide services of architectural design and engineering to remodel and modernize the existing 3,490 SF auditorium including the auditorium gallery and projection room. Areas of work will include: general finishes, seating, stage lighting, audio and video systems, acoustical treatments, HVAC, and electrical and low voltage requirements.
The successful firm will provide professional architectural and engineering services for space evaluation, field verification, alternative design solutions, cost estimating, design development (including cost modeling), construction documentation, bidding, construction administration and project closeout. Related commissioning services may also be required.

- Submitted 4 copies of their qualifications.
- Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
- Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
- Utilize an AutoCAD compatible system to provide documents.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
