Description of Project
The University''''s current property control/fixed asset application is approximately 10 years old and very limited. At this time, NEIU is seeking information pertaining to and the possible opportunities available for property control/fixed asset applications which address the following criteria (not to be considered an exhaustive list): multi-user application; web-based; ability to identify type of purchase per fixed asset item as mandated by Central Management Services (; ability to identify specific action; accommodate robust data collection efforts; ability to use scanning equipment and bar code technology; ability to reconcile with the University''''s General Ledger and purchasing application; comply with GASB 34/35 Rules and allow for control of asset depreciation; ability to develop query and report writer tools. The University''''s current platforms are: Windows NT, Windows 2000, HP UNIX, CICS; Existing Network: Novell; Current Databases: Informix, Oracle, Microsfot SQL server.

Interested vendors must email request for copy of the RFI to Susan Zoltek at The University will accept any and all information (brochures, etc.) from vendors offering a Property Control/Fixed Asset Application meeting the criteria listed above and works with the University''''''''s network, platform and databases.
