The University wishes to lease El Centro Educational Resource Center located at the Northwest area of Chicago and accessible to residents of West Town for a period of 5 years and an option to renew for a second (5) year term. This property will be used for an educational center.

This proposal is for commercial property preferably located at the northwest area of Chicago and accessible to residents of West Town, Humboldt Park and Logan Square. The preferred location is within an area bounded by Irving Park, Fullerton, Kedzie and Cicero Avenues with a lease duration of five years and an option to renew for a second 5-year term. This property will be used for an educational center. General specifications: It is desired that the interior of the approximately 28,500 to 35,000 gross square foot center be fully capable of accommodating multimedia and distance education classrooms, conference space, computer labs, faculty/support staff offices, reception/information area, print/copy center, storage janitorial space, utility auxiliary space and ADA accessibility. The University will provide the equipment and furniture necessary to meet the educational center requirements. The space must have the wall, ceiling and floor construction; HVAC, plumbing; electrical; and telecommunication infrastructure to support these requirements.
