The Successful Bidder will furnish and install all necessary labor, material and equipment required to complete the project known as the 2010 Parking Lot and Access Road Maintenance, Project No. 00-6000-1009, which the base bid includes pavement patching and crack filling of Parking Lot “D”; pavement patching, crack filling, and seal coating of Parking Lot “C and Parking Lot “E”; and pavement patching, crack filling, and curb and gutter repair of the Access Road at the Northeastern Illinois University main campus. Alternate No. 1 includes pavement patching, crack filling, and seal coating of Parking “F”. Alternate No. 2 includes pavement patching, crack filling, and seal coating of Parking Lot “PE” and Parking Lot “BOB” with only pavement patching and crack filling occurring in Parking Lots “H”, and “J”. The work includes hot-mix asphalt pavement removal, pavement patching, hot-mix asphalt paving, seal coat and crack filling, concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, and thermoplastic and paint pavement markings. Structure adjustments as well as miscellaneous site restoration are also required. The Contractor will be required to maintain access to the university at all times.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday 20 April 2010 @ 10:00 A.M., in Student Union Room SU215.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals. This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
