Northeastern Illinois University is requesting sealed bids for the annual maintenance of its Alcatel Lucent network switches located at all University campuses. The scope of service includes hardware and software support for production switches. The maintenance period is from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, with two one-year options to renew at the discretion of the University.
Detailed specifications are provided in the attached bid document. The award will be based on bidder’s conformance to specification, certification from the manufacturer of the equipment (Alcatel Lucent) stating that the Vendor is certified to service the specified equipment, experience in providing the specified services, ability to meet delivery date, and the lowest total delivered cost of service.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals. Solicitation documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
