for Granite-Clad Sculpture Base. The successful bidder will provide all labor, material and equipment required to complete the project known as Granite-Clad Sculpture Base, Project No. 72-2000-0804. General work will consist of constructing a granite clad concrete base approximately 15 feet x 15 feet x 6 feet high to support a bronze sculpture located in the center of the University Commons. This project also includes minor electrical work to install ground mounted flood lights, plumbing work to make minor adjustments to the existing underground lawn sprinkler system and restoration of any sitework damaged within the construction limits.

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held on Friday 14 January 2005 at 10:00am, in the Student Union, Room 219.

A bid security deposit in the amount of $5000 will be required.

Obtain Bidding Documents after 5 January 2005 at Northeastern Illinois University, "Facilities Maintenance Building", 5500 North St. Louis Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60625; 773-442-5230; no deposit required.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
