NEIU requires 100Mbps Ethernet Private Line Service, which is defined as a two-point digital channel that provides two-way transmission of Ethernet frames at speeds of 100Mbps. The service will support a sustained payload rate of 85Mbps with 512-byte frames. The physical interface will be IEEE 802.3 compliant 100BASE-TX. This service will be provided between the Main Campus (5500 N. St. Louis Ave, Chicago) and the State of Illinois Building in downtown Chicago.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
