The successful bidder will furnish and install all necessary labor, material and equipment required to complete the project known as the Fire Alarm System Improvements Physical Education Complex (PE Complex) & Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies (CCICS) Project No 00-0000-1004. The project consists of the installation of fire/smoke detection and voice/visual activation devices, and systems. Work is located in the PE Complex on the NEIU main campus site at 5500 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, IL 60625 and at the CCICS NEIU off campus site at 700 E. Oakwood Blvd. Chicago, IL60653.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday 20 February 2007 at 10:00 am in the FM Building Conference Room.
Bids shall include Bidder's Illinois DHR Identification Number for all bids. Bid securities will be as follows:

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals. This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
