Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) requests proposals from licensed real estate firms specializing in commercial real estate for real estate brokerage, marketing and leasing services, and real estate development for property in Chicago, Illinois owned by NEIU. The University is interested in pursuing ground leases with developers for properties owned by the University. As a State of Illinois entity, the University will follow all applicable State regulations.
Illinois Procurement Bulletin Reminder:
Saturday, July 31st, 2021, the Illinois Procurement Bulletin will move from our in-house Categories/Keywords to NIGP codes.
All Vendors must login to their profiles on or after Saturday July 31st, 2021 to update their email notifications to NIGP codes.
Vendors that do not update their email notification to NIGP codes will not receive emails in regard to new solicitations after July 31st.

Illinois Department of Human Rights recent upgrade Reminder:
The Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) is upgrading their online application/renewal system for the IDHR Public Contract/Eligibility Number (IDHR Number). During this time, the upgrade is causing some first-time applications and renewals to be delayed.
Vendors that currently hold a State contract, procured by a State agency or university through an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP), must have an active/valid IDHR Number. To ensure compliance, vendors with expiring IDHR Numbers should submit their online renewal application at least 30 days before license expiration you may submit as early as 90 days prior to expiration. If approval of the renewal is not received seven (7) business days before expiration, contractors should notify the contracting State agency or university immediately.

Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals, if applicable.

The contract(s) for this solicitation could exceed $50,000 annually.
