The Board of Trustees of Northern Illinois University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the open orders for miscellaneous contractual pricing.

This bid is offered to satisfy procurement regulations to establish open orders with prevailing wage companies. This is intended for local bidders, as a long-distance bidder would not find it profitable for multiple calls to the DeKalb campus. Each open order will be proceeded by a contract, as a result of this bid. The University will be the sole determinant of each trade awarded.

Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked open orders for miscellaneous contractual pricing. Bids will be received up to the hour of 1:15 PM local time, on Thursday, April 15, 2004. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
