NIU is accepting submittals of qualifications by firms interested in providing relocation and space assessment services for the College of Health and Human Sciences at the DeKalb campus. The selected firm will be responsible for creating and overseeing implementation of a relocation plan that will include:

  • A detailed space survey of Wirtz Hall
  • Conducting interviews with the dean and each departmental chairperson to establish departmental space requirements
  • Meetings with the dean and University staff to present departmental space assignment options that will result in a final assignment plan
  • A furniture inventory and coordination with each college department necessary to develop a final furniture plan
  • Design of any minor interior architectural modifications required by the program
