The University
awarded
a contract for
a study abroad program
to
Oriel College
for
$125,000.
It is estimated that approximately 21 students and four faculty will participate in the program with an approximate cost of $3,200 per individual. The contract is through August 2005. This is the sole economically feasible source due to the involvement of NIU faculty in the development and continued academic oversight of this program, as well as specialized arrangements to meet academic requirements made possible by the vendor.
