for consultation services for athletics.

Proposals will be accepted from companies that can provide NIU''s President with the following services:

  1. A professional review of the NIU Athletics Program to identify and assess critical issues that will affect the role of the new Athletics Director. The review must be designed to provide the President with a comprehensive overview of the NIU Athletics Program status and condition.
  2. The consultant selected will then provide a comprehensive professional executive search and placement services to assist the University President and an institutional search committee in preparation of a slate of qualified suitable candidates for consideration.

Respondents must provide:

  • Information regarding the proposed approach to meet timelines and objectives of this RFP
  • Their abilities to provide a full range of requested services including general experience, experience in providing similar services for institutions of like size and complexity
  • Qualifications and experience of key personnel to be assigned to this project
  • Specific experience in providing requested services
  • Knowlege of athletic programs and conferences in the NCAA Division I-A level
  • Suitable references from clients where similar services have been completed
  • Demonstrated record of completed Division 1-A program reviews and AD searches
  • Quality and completeness of response and adequacy of respondent''s resources to undertake and support a project of this scope
